Vocational Courses
Paucity of facilities of Vocational courses has been a major handicap for employment / self-employment opportunities for the youth particularly in the backward districts of Konkan Region (Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, and Raigad). In order to enable the students to acquire professional skills and to a certain extent, address the problem of unemployment in the Region, the TRUST decided to offer Vocational Courses so that the local students can decide their future course in life after completion of education at the schools / colleges. At present the vocational courses like Post graduate diploma in Laboratory Technology and nursing are offered at the Trust’s complex at Dervan.
