This project will be a joint collaboration between Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai & B.K.L.Walawalkar Hospital, Dervan.

Shree Vithalrao Joshi Charities Trust, a well known organization working for the society’s Benefit in the Konkan region of Maharashtra state, had for a long time envisaged a project of offering basic & state-of-the-art health services to the poor & needy people at affordable rates. This vision became a reality on 1st February 1996, with the inauguration of Bhaktashreshtha Kamalakar Laxman Walawalkar (BKLW) Hospital at Dervan (about 280 Km from Mumbai and 240 Km from Pune, on the Mumbai-Goa road). The hospital, which is spread over 7 acres of land, in a campus of about 150 acres, is today a glowing example of dedicated service to humanity.
