CASE 1:
Clinical History:
Miss. Neenakumari Jagdish Chaudhari, 20 years old female came from
Chinmaya organization Rural Development, Siddhawadi, Taluka Dharmashala,
Himachal Pradesh.
Neenakumari was not able to walk properly from last 10 years. So her
father took her to Dharmashala Hospital, a district place in Himachal pradesh.
After examining her she was referred to Patiyala Hospital. The orthopedic
surgeon of Patiyala Hospital advised them for hip replacement. But due to
her poor condition it could not be materialized there. So she returned to
Chinmaya Organisation again.
During Shri. Kaka Maharaj’s visit to Chinmaya Mission, the organizer
Smt. Mhatre discussed this issue with him. Kaka Maharaj advised her to send
such patients to BKLW Hospital, Dervan for operations. Accordingly Ms.
Neenakumari came to Hospital with her guardian. She was not able to stand
on a straight back at the time she was admitted in the hospital. She was
operated on Rt. & Lt. Total hip replacement. The operations was completed
succefully, and free of charge. The patient is currently under physiotherapy
treatment.
