By keeping in mind the development of the society on all fronts, it was articulated that empowering women, making them selfsufficient and thus enabling them to live a life with respect is an important step in development of the society. This vision has been made a reality by taking initiative to commence a course in Nursing in the vicinity of the hospital for the girls from Konkan region.
Shri Vithalrao Joshi Charities Trust’s, Samarth Nursing College started in the year 2001 with 1 ½ year ANM course.
In the year 2002 three years duration RGNM old course had been started.
In the year 2007 B. Sc. Nursing Course started and in the year 2012 started with M. Sc. Nursing course
