This department is handled by experienced specialist gastroenterologist .It has state of the art Olympus Upper GI, lower GI scopes, ERCP scopes, esophageal dilators, balloons, ligation Bands, PEG, Frekas tube and video processor with camera.co2 insufflator, flushing pump from Olympus etc.

This Department is a boon to patients with Gastro-intestinal disorders. Endoscopic biopsies, polypectomy, esophageal banding, sclerotherapy, ERCP, Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) Placement, polypectomy (removal of precancerous polyps), colonic stenting (for bowel obstructions), endoscopic hemostasis, balloon dilation for strictures, and foreign body removal and MRCP are routinely performed under supervision of senior gastroenterologists. The Department also runs an endoscopy technician course affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, thus providing hands-on training to the aspirants under experts’ supervision.
