It’s more than a decade now since a team of committed medical professionals from the United Kingdom (UK) began their annual visits to BKL Walawalkar Hospital at Dervan. Under the leadership of Dr. Sanjay Deshpande, the team – a mix of specialist doctors and medical support staff- offers its services, for the benefit of the patients. The success of their mission can be seen in the ever-growing numbers of patients who get registered to avail the expertise being offered. This year’s Annual Surgery camp which was held from 30th January to 5th February 2016 at Dervan. Around 161 surgeries were performed by the team.
